2D & 3D Bar Chart in Excel

How to create 2D & 3D Bar chart in Excel?

In last post, we learnt how to insert Pie chart in Excel. In this post, we shall learn how to create 2D & 3D Bar chart in MS Excel.

2D Bar Chart

To insert 2D Bar Chart (or just Bar Chart), select the data for which the Bar chart has to be generated, now go to INSERT menu and click on 'Insert Bar Chart' command button from Charting group on the ribbon as shown below and select the desired chart type.

A Bar chart appears at the center of the spreadsheet, hold and drag to move the chart to desired location.

To apply style, filter and customize the element of the chart, follow the steps described here.

3D Bar Chart

To insert 3D Bar Chart (or just Bar Chart), select the data for which the Bar chart has to be generated, now go to INSERT menu and click on 'Insert Bar Chart' command button from Charting group on the ribbon as shown below and select desired 3D chart type under '3-D Bar' heading.

A 3-D chart appears on the screen. To modify the style, filter the data and customize elements follow this post.
